Chelsea should re-sign Nathan Ake from Bournemouth when their transfer ban ends, according to one of the club’s veteran scouts.
Ake joined the Blues as a 16-year-old but after failing to make the grade at Stamford Bridge he joined Bournemouth in a £20m deal back in 2017.
The Holland defender since established himself as a vital part of the Cherries’ Premier League plans, with a number of big sides reportedly monitoring the 24-year-old’s situation.
However, the west London side are believed to be in the front seat where his future is concerned, having reportedly inserted a £39m buy-back clause into that deal.
And Piet de Visser, Roman Abramovich’s private scout for several years and still now a part-time employee at Chelsea, has urged the Blues to take advantage of that.
